Audio Podcasts
God created each person to learn differently. I like to read and listen to podcasts. I like video less. Others learn best from watching a video: enter the YouTube generation. I still need to remember to look on YouTube when I want to learn how to do something since it does not come naturally to me to check there. I write the episodes in the form of a blog first, then turn that into an audio podcast, and, as of writing in September 2023, I hope to record them in video form within a few months. However you consume the episodes, I pray that God will work through them to draw you into closer intimacy with Him. Remember, though, that you play a role in that growing intimacy. Dallas Willard said that while you can do nothing without Jesus, if you do nothing it will certainly be without Jesus.

Dive Into Our God Bathed Life: (Trailer for the Our God Bathed Life podcast) This Spotify link is to the very first post, the trailer, for the Our God Bathed Life podcast. It is hosted by me, Tim Bergey. In this episode you will learn what the hopes are for the podcast as well as how it is arranged. My hope is that this is more than a podcast that you listen to, though it can be just that if you prefer, but a podcast that you do, and get to do with others. It is kind-of made for small groups of people to share and discuss. In each future episode there is:
1) A teaching on a topic.
2) An imagining of what God might say about the topic is He were to speak with us directly.
3) A practice to do daily, or at least multiple times, before proceeding to the next episode.

I have been told that this episode is a little dense in material. There are short musical breaks built into each episode so feel free to mark the time in the podcast and return to it later where you left off if need be. In this particular episode, I have also included a few "pause and recap" sections to summarize and look ahead. If it is a difficult episode for you, then please glean what you can and pay particular attention to the section where we imagine God speaking and to the final section where we provide a practice to do.
